Every year in Tallinn, the capital city of Estonia is organized the largest beer festival of the Nordic countries. This festival, also known as Ollesummer, takes place in the heart of the historic old quarter of the city and attracts more than 80,000 people.
The beer festival in Tallinn is the perfect place to try hundreds of different beers, including all the Estonian varieties and beers from the whole world. A lot of big tents are set up, as well as food stalls.
The Ollesummer Festival is more than just drinking beers; there is also a great programme of live entertainments and concerts, Estonian music, rock, reggae… During four days, bands and musicians perform on different stages through the city.
A part of the festival named Summimaa is dedicated to the children, with aerobic sessions, shows and a disco. Another part is for the youth, with a skate park and live performances by Estonian youth bands.
